Dun Aluinn, is Scotland’s No.1 design led exclusive use property located in the burgh of Aberfeldy in highland Perthshire. Set on an elevated position, within 5.5 acres of private grounds the property enjoys stunning views out towards the Highlands, the River Tay and one of Scotland’s best known Munros, Schiehallion.

The stunning house includes 9 individually designed en-suite bedrooms, 3 of which can be set as twin rooms. 2 of the bedrooms feature free standing baths and one bathroom includes its own steam room.
The feature room of Dun Aluinn is the large living/ dining area with a 5.5m long, single piece of casted bronze dining table able to accommodate up to 20 people. The huge windows also allow the natural light to flood in and for guests to enjoy the surrounding views.
Located beside the main living area guests will also find a top of the range kitchen. A smaller, cosier living room complete with fire place is also found on the ground-floor.
Along with the bedrooms upstairs you will find your very own cinema room. This includes full SKY package and Netflix and fully wifi-enabled, Bose surround sound system which can also connect to Spotify. There is also a play den for our younger guests, with a great mix of books and toys.
Outside the house, is a private terrace area complete with fire pit to keep warm during those colder nights in Scotland. Also, nestled in the woods beside the house is a beautiful wood fired cedar Hot Tub imported from Finland, large enough for 10-12 people.
Food & Drink at Dun Aluinn
Catering provided by partners Ballintaggart Farm – locally sourced seasonal produced, served with real passion. Breakfast is included each morning in the house as standard, however there is the option to include lunches and dinners throughout your stay including 3 course meals, BBQs, tasting menus & afternoon tea, according to your schedule and requests. Ballintaggart have just made the Michelin Guide for 2020. Guests are also welcome to enjoy Dun Aluinn’s extensive selection of Whisky and Gin’s
Daily house-keeping and turndown service along with your very own private butler throughout your stay is also included.
Golf & Activities
Local golf courses include Strathtay, Pitlochry and the 9-hole course at Aberfeldy. Gleneagles and Blairgowrie Golf Clubs are within 1hr drive from Dun Aluinn. St Andrews and Carnoustie are also under 2 hours’ drive away therefore guests can enjoy a mixture of picturesque inland courses and the championship links courses.
Guests can enjoy the easy stroll into Aberfeldy town and all the lovely restaurants, book shops and coffee shops. There are also amazing walks directly from the house including the Birks of Aberfeldy.
