The average price of a main meal is around £15 meaning great value for a hefty scran. The restaurant also offers its guests free parking on site. So if Royal Troon, Trump Turnberry or any of the other Ayrshire courses are on your itinerary then Wildings is definitely worth the trip.

The Bonnie Badger Gullane

AA 5 star Pub/Restaurant with rooms located on Gullane High Street, East Lothian. A stones throw from Gullane Golf Club and only a few miles from Muirfield, North Berwick, Archerfield and The Renaissance Club. The Bonnie Badger is part of The Kitchin Group portfolio owned by Michelin star Chef Tom Kitchin and his wife Michaela.

The cosy Broc Bar offers morning coffee, snacks, lunch and dinner. It also features a games room with a pool table and TVs showing Sky Sports throughout the day. Whereas the Stable Dining Room presents a seasonal A La Carte menu as well as modern takes on pub classics with the ethos of local produce from ’nature to plate’ with all dishes. There is also private dining available for groups when booked in advance. The bar and restaurant creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere to compliment the village. Not only is the food great but they make a mean cocktail at the Broc Bar……..

A new addition to the ‘Auld Grey Toun’ of St Andrews. The Scandanavian themed bar and restaurant is set in a wonderful location on St Andrews North Street overlooking St Salvador’s Chapel. The restaurant prides itself on locally sourced produce that has been carefully adapted with a Nordic twist. The Räv offers bar snacks, lunches and dinner reservations throughout the day, although evening reservations are recommended as the restaurant is small and intimate.  The Bar has a wonderful selection of wine, whiskies, spirits and cocktails for you to enjoy after a wonderful dinner. If you’re enjoying a a walk around town after a round on one of St Andrews Links courses and are looking for something a little bit different then The Räv is the restaurant for you.

Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Links House

The newly refurbished Calders Bistro at the 4 star Carnoustie Golf Hotel offers fine dining with delicious fare, much of it from local Scottish produce. A stone throw from the Championship Course at Carnoustie, it is a welcome stop after finishing some of the toughest closing holes in golf! The restaurant also includes the award winning Calder Bar. With a terrace area looking out into the course it is perfect for those summer nights enjoying a fine wine or cocktail.

Also offering stunning views of the golf course is the brand new Clubhouse at Carnoustie Golf Links. The Links House which opened in April 2018. With floor to ceiling windows The Rookery Restaurant within the clubhouse provides contemporary cuisine in a stylish and traditional atmosphere.

Part of the 5 star Hotel and Spa located on the outskirts of Aberdeen city centre. The Marcliffe is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and welcome from the owners. The Spence family input over the years over the years, makes the experience what it is. They offer a hearty menu filled with Scottish culinary delights expertly made by their executive chefs. You will also enjoy some wine and champagne recommendations to accompany any course by the hotels expert sommelier. If you are in Aberdeen playing the likes of Royal Aberdeen or Trump International Links and you are looking for a 5 star dining experience for the evening then the Marcliffe should be put into your itinerary.

The Mustard Seed Inverness

Opened since 1995, The Mustard seed is a firm favourite and a well established restaurant in Inverness city centre. It is a popular spot for golfers staying in the highlands and commuting to the local courses; Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart Golf Links and Nairn Golf Club. The split-level setting in former church, offers traditional Scottish and European produce of the very highest standard. With fresh seafood caught daily and the highest quality meats there is something for all taste buds. There are lunch menus throughout the day as well as a comprehensive menu for children. The bar also offers a wide array of whiskies, wines and beers from all over the world. If it’s a dining experience or just a few refreshments then the Mustard Seed is the place to visit when in Inverness.
